Hit by flak over the target,#1 feathered, and#2 propeller ranaway, crew bailed out between Saarbrucken and Manheim; this B-17G crash landed in Miracourt, France, near Nancy. Pilot (Wright) and Irving Levin stayed with plane. Co-Pilot Wolfson bailed out and was murdered. No MACR issued.
