While on a navigation practice sortie, pilot landed at Duxford, base for the 78 Fighter Group. With tower permission, nine 78 FG personnel joined the flight. While "buzzing" the tower, the wing struck a warning blinker, causing the B-17 to crash into 83FS barrack. 14 KIS - 2 WIS. B-17 "Ready Freddie"
